Vocals

Hi, I'm new here and new with Pink Floyd. There are lots of problems for me to find out who sings which vocals and so on...Can you help me with some true information?

Gosh, talk about repetitive threads...

Well I will just say what i'm sure of, in Dark Side Of The Moon:

Roger sings vocals on Brain Damage and Eclipse, the rest is David Gilmour, both Gilmour and Wright in Us And Them.

After you listen to them more, you'll learn to recognize each voice.

For years I couldn't tell who sang Welcome to the machine!

When the Div bell initially came out a lot of people thought Syd was singing Wearing the inside out!

The band are on a complete higher level than any of us....they played head games all the way......holophonic sound anyone?

If anyone thought Syd was singing on TDB they must be more stupid even than you.

I am no such thing, don't listen to her, any of you.

Cheesus: let's ease up on the abuse if we can, please. However much he may trouble any of us his right to express, within the rules, is as assured as yours or mine. Okay?

Welcome mauroalma....you have much to embrace with Pink Floyd...not least who sings what, lyrics, bootlegs, etc.

This site is for you, though, for here you can find all the information on Dark Side of the Moon (or DSotM as many of us know it here), or Piper at the Gates of Dawn (PATGOD) and the rest.

Explore and enjoy your trip,
BoaB

He dishes it out enough so I figure he should take it too, but ok, I'll give it a rest if it upsets your Mod sensibilities.

Well, I am trying to pre-empt more of the "you let them abuse me but only take action when I say something" kind of PM bollocks.

Thanks Cheese.
