I got Stoned Alone via Kazaa. And there must be more over there. Hope that helps.

Re: Extremely Important

Yeah, you can find almost everything on that list (everything which has been actually recorded, that is) via WinMx or Kazaa.
Also look for "A Tree Full Of Secrets", which is a compilation of rarities on mp3 format.

Re: Extremely Important

Erm...
well, the question is in what form you want to get them. Mp3 or really own them (as single)?
That's what I didn't understand... well, speaking of singles - my local used-lp-shop has a pretty good collection of PF-stuff. But well, that's vinyl (I'm in the process of getting some albums, but I don't want to pay more just because the piece is a rarity, as some of those are).
Oh and well, if not on cd/lp then try WinMX

Re: Extremely Important

I think you'll find that a great deal of those track names are fabrications or just alternative names dreamt up by bootleggers.

Re: Extremely Important

Stanley the Simpleton is a fake, don't bother with it. "Rush in a Million" is "One in a Million". The "Mary Jane" tunes do not have Syd on them(or any other Floyd for that matter). Rooftop in a Thunderstorm.....is a poem by Syd and was never recorded.

I could go on, but my head hurts from going through this pile of crap.

It's eerie now to read that and realize he has gone away and won't be back for a few months.

Are there many of the bootlegs mentioned by Linda non-Syd Barret?

Re: Extremely Important

Not sure if this thread is still active but...

It seems you have taken you list from the pink floyd hyperbase, if you examine this clearly there are a number of tracks that have different names, also a lot of the tracks are part of The Man & The Journey, this was released on bootleg on a few different albums.

Thru the use of winmx I have managed to get most of these songs, one ones which are recorded anyways, this is also not a complete list.

My suggestion is to edit your list into live and studio, the live ones you can look for using the www.pf-roio.de site and find the bootlegs by name, it's work but it is worth it.

There are also other tracks which are supposedly recorded but not listed there. Highway song (believed to be from the Zabriskie Point sessions and also the Household Objects experiment which supposedly had 3 tracks recorded. This info comes from a book I have. There maybe others listed, if I find any more I will list them here.

From the orignal list a number of the tracks are also Syd tracks which I have not begun to look for. (That comes later)
