county down demo solved

Well when I heard Rog had a new song, I though... "gotta check it out!" then when i read the description of the song I realized what it was...


County Down is a song I wrote and recorded a couple of years ago. I'm a songwriter who does a lot of home demos and recording... this one actually was done in a proper studio. Obviously somebody downloaded this song from my website and then relabelled it as Roger Waters. A huge compliment to me, I am a big fan and he's been a great influence, but... there ya go

Well I wrote County Down about Pictou County here in Nova cotia, at a time when it was culturally dead (to me anyway). Seems as though the second I recorded it, the place got better... has music festivals etc now. And no, it's not because the song changed the place... I don't think more than 5 people have actually heard the song lol.

As for the other songs on the website, they are definately demo quality. I'm working on a cd right now that will include much better versions. VV, you mentioned "Thousand Miles", well the finished product is much better. I'd gladly send along a few tunes to anyone interested.
