Winter Spring Summer or Autumn?

I love the changing seasons. I've always enjoyed winter, but we don't seem to get proper winters anymore. Not in the UK anyway, at least not where I live. Its been at least ten years since we've had a real snowfall thats lasted for a few weeks. Now my favourite time of year is autumn: the havested fields, trees turning golden, bonfires and cold blue skies.
Spring and summer are great too, although I don't like it too hot there is something magical when the forests and plants are thick with foliage and richly colourful.
There's nothing like wandering in the mountains in spring when the sun's bright and the grass glows and the sky opens up into a cloudless blue space.
Does anyone else have a favourite time of year?

I Buffalo in the winter (can't help it. It is the only friggin' season we have here!) so cold, dreary, grey, dark...

I miss the Indian Monsoon... also cold, dark, grey, dreary, windy...

I've always been especially fond of Autumn and Winter, which is probably part of why I enjoyed my trip to London this time last year. I love grey, chilly, windswept days, with leaves skittering across the lawns or the first snowfall drifting lazily down.

I love rain, too, if I'm not working.

Autumn's been quite warm here in the UK, actually. Where I live certainly.

Spring is definitely the best here in New England. Not that we really get a "real" spring, but it's the nicest season we have! The ground is mushy and makes funny noises when you walk, the birds wake you up so early, and the sky has that silver-gold quality all day long!

Fall's nice too, but I don't like knowing that winter's coming.

I'm surrounded by at least two feet of snow right now and boy do I hate it!!!! The sun rises at 7:10 and sets at 4:40... Not my idea of a good season!

The period between Spring and Summer. During a really good thunderstorm, the sky will turn a deep, muddy green and just rain without mercy. The feeling is pretty undescribable...I think it might be the barometric pressure. In that situation, usually the sun will be shining minutes later, or there's a tornado on the loose.
