Again, A Nice Pair (LP)

Well,
I've just opened a new thread since the other one has hopelessly drifted off into a load of rubbish (sorry, I mean, it's just not about the original subject anymore )
And I don't want to revive THAT subject, but anyway...
...My "problem": TPatGoD and ASoS aren't available at my local record store (that is, a second-hand vinyl-shop), but A Nice Pair is. So, is that a good sort of compensation for the two debut albums or is there any fact I'll have to pay attention to, which makes it worse (besides the fact that compilations aren't as good as the actual albums)?

Re: Again, A Nice Pair (LP)

If you bother to look you will see that A Nice Pair is just a repackaging of the first two albums into one double - it's not a compilation.

Re: Again, A Nice Pair (LP)

yeah well,
you could look at it as a compilation of two albums. What I meant was that you don't get the feeling of a stand-alone album, like Piper with its artwork, etc...

Well as you have stated that you are unable to buy the first two albums seperately you are left with two choices, are you not?

Re: Again, A Nice Pair (LP)

Well yes,
I could buy A Nice Pair or leave it, or I could keep looking for the two debut albums (but that would make three choices, wouldn't it )

Re: Again, A Nice Pair (LP)

Indeed, what it comes down to is - do you want to listen to the music or look at an album cover?
