Any hippies out there?

I think I am a hippy and proud of it. HEre are some 'how to tell if your a hippy' tips: (I think I do all of these)

-Wear a tye dye almost every day. IF not tye dye, than a band shirt.

-Own a pair of Birkenstocks.

-Own/have owned a VW bus. (I dont)

-Hardly Bathe to make your trip last longer. (ooohh)

-Smoke pot, a must for hippies.

-Say 'man' in almost every sentance.

-Refer everyone as your brother/sister.

Yeah, that really has nothing to do with being a hippy. How old are you?

I suspect that real hippies have no need to proclaim their own hippydom.

I always thought hippies were characterized more by their stance on life, the environment, Vietnam, peace, etc. rather than by their choice in designer sandals.

yeah, i'm weaing a tye die shirt now, and my hair is longer, and i rather dug the Woodstock movie. but, i don't think i'm a hippie, not much for politickin'.

How about them thar naked mud fights?

nothing wrong with them, i suppose, if a body's comfortable with that, but most common I ain't, myself.

I was a hippy between '95 and '98. Then I got depressed.

I have always been considered rather "hippy"ish, but now that I've seen the list of qualifications, I guess not.
