There's this really weird doll....

http://i8.ebayimg.com/01/i/000/d4/28/11a3_1.JPG

somebody thought they'd make those freaky Blythe type dolls originally from the 70's into a Syd-a-like doll, custom made.

I buy this kind of crap any-way, (non Floyd related) I'm wavering on will I get it?!?!

Re: There's this really weird doll....

Q1: How much do they want for it?

Q2: Could you possibly make it yourself?

Q3: Are you one of those people with TONS of objets d'arts (shelfware)...in your room?

Re: There's this really weird doll....

if you mean a hoarder that puts lots of "interesting" (ahem) crap on their shelves and refuses to part with it despite its uselessness, pretty much yes.
Its not alot of $ (a bargain) and its about 14 inches high, you can change its eyes to different derranged eye-colours though that "Blythe" style of custom doll tends to sell for over a 100$ I love crap, odd crap, I think I'll bother.......

Re: There's this really weird doll....

First off: I am no longer a bus operator [Watch this space as ongoing events may prove the preceding obsolete.]

Second: I drove, when I was a bus operator, for MetroLine, not Arriva.

Third, and finally: Apart from the objection about the lead (US: leash) and Health & Safety, for which the driver has a point, I would never have spoken to any passenger in that way. You know me better than that, DT.

Dogs are indeed allowed on double decker buses only - their owners must pay a child's fare for them, but now that Mayor "Red" Ken [Livingstone] has allowed free travel for all children under 17years, dogs must ride for free as well - yet no-one ever objected to dogs being on leads or otherwise. The only rule is that dogs must be carried on the top deck of the bus or not at all.

"Freaks," on the other hand - a highly subjective term in any case - are certainly allowed to travel as long as the correct fare is paid.
