weird sound on the wall

Just wondering if anyone has identified the last sound on the last song of the last side of the wall...it's very strange and lasts maybe 3/10ths of a second - it sounds like someone saying "sotheyswep" or something...it's bugged me since i was 11 years old and heard the greatest album ever!
Thanks.

I think you mean the part when it goes "...this is where..." and it continues on the first disc at the very beginning "...we came in...". The Wall when issued on 8 track could be listened to endessly, and i think Roger was trying to say that if the Wall is finally teared down, there's always one being rebulit.

Cheers

hey...now that makes sense! Although i could never make it out, i now have to listen with that in mind...everyone, when i would play it and say "listen for this" would look at me like i was crazy... so thanks!

always the last place you look.

well, assuming that you stop looking after you've found whatever was lost, like most do.
