| Re: Top 5 singers/voices in rock history!! Well Im agreeing with basically ALL aforementioned singers. Except Robbie Williams (whom I hate with a passion but moreso for his person than any talent) and Axl Rose, who sounds like a mountain lion with his tail in a trap. Freddy Mercury Roger Daltry Robert Plant (one of the most unique voices) Ian Gillian (so under rated, I mean he could holler for as long as Plant) Joe Cocker (often forgotten, but also had a mean set of pipes) But I do like the femmes too and think they are under rated. Grace Slick (omg, that Woodstock performance) Janis Joplin (raw but powerful and full of soul) Tina Turner (God I LOVE her, especially her Ike and Tina years) Merry Clayton (back up vocals for Gimme Shelter,Sweet Home Alabama ect) |
