Australain Super Star Kylie annouces plans to release a re-make of the Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

To a stunned music press in Sydeny today, the pint sized pop Diva annouced plans to release an updated version of the classic album. Kylie stated, "I have always been a big fan of Pink Floyd but feel their music does not translate well in the modern era of trance and pop.". Asked if the remake would involve any changes to the album's tracks Kylie replied, "We have already recorded an updated version of Time with a techno dance theme making it accessable to people dancing at rages. Ernesto Carboli has agreed to rewrite Us and Them with a salsa feel to it for release as the 2003 Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras anthem".

Asked if any members of the legendary Pink Floyd would be playing on the new release, an uncomfortable audience was told, "Unfortunatly not. But the members of Savage Garden and Psuedo Echo are currently recording for it. Dannii has agreed to do the vocals on the Great Gig in the Sky after her performance on hearing about my latest record deal. We may have to cut out the shrill notes, but she defiantly has the lung capacity for it".

Kylie is the new Queen of Pop, replacing the unsaintly yet "mumsy" Madonna; she will shape the way music is made and appreciated for a generation to come.

If she can snag Snowy White, invigorating him however she may, to do the solo for Money, this would be the coup of the new century for Pnk Floyd.

It may even be the spur to reunion for the real band. Just think. :o
