Michael Jackson (recent interview)

Firstly this thread isn't really to state whether you like him or not but rather would like to know if you agree with me on the following:

Now i'm sure most of you saw the recent interview done by ITV in the UK. At the end of it i was still thinking the same thing..who cares. Who cares what colour underwear he wears, who sleeps in his bed, what he buys with his money (which by the way -gasp- he earned) or what he has in his Neverland mansion. I don't care if he changes his nose every month or who he has his children with. If some out there wants to do an interview with him, do one exploring his music, his career and what is, his musical genious.

The blame however falls a little of himself, he should finally put his foot down and say, "all interviews are only one to do with my music and thats it".

Anyway that's all from me for now, i await your thoughts...
Cheers.

Re: Michael Jackson (recent interview)

I agree somewhat: it's wrong to hear over and over again about "day-to-day" things about the man (or anyone else).

But then again, don't you get bored sometimes when it's all about the music? I can't read any of those Guitar magazine interviews: they put me to sleep! Personally, I like a cross between something like, "I wrote this song ... (using such and such effects, instruments, etc.) because I was feeling ... (what caused them to write it)." I think that most interviews are conducted that way.

i was thouroughly disgusted by what i saw in that programme. i didnt find any of it particularly interesting, but i hope social services or the police take an interest in it.

He should be jailed as a child molester.

If I never heard another thing about him it would be too soon.

Let's face it he's a deluded freak, he denied he'd had any plastic surgery (apart from a bit on his nose!), his nice even skin colour is the result of some disease and the best way to bring peace and harmony to the world is to let little kids sleep in your bed! And anyone who names one of their kids Blanket needs a good kick up the arse!!!

I like you, Doc. You tell it how it is without holding back.

Re: Michael Jackson (recent interview)

I'm in a similar situation as Duke. It hasn't aired yet, but I read about it in the papers. Also there's Detroit/Colorado game (The Bruins got nothin' on Forsberg, baby), and I haven't missed one of those in three years. Whatever happens, nothing sways me of the firm belief that the man is an insult to humanity, and the fact that he owns the beatles catalog makes it worse.

Re: Michael Jackson (recent interview)

yeah , Wings - Avs ( espn 2 ) sounds great , as a western great rivalry or as Bruins- Habs - eastern great rivalry . anyway two great hockey match-ups , a lot of fun , blood and play-off tension , but bruins game will start at 7 ( - one hour ) , so i can change the chanells .
Screw wacko-jacko , he 's a bad bad bad bad bad bad boy , much worse the axl rose .
he can be an excellent actor for the next batman movie ( they 're planning to give *Joker * a second chance ) .

Re: Michael Jackson (recent interview)

Hmmm, I respect him for his music and incredible dancing talent but I cannot make heads or tails of this latest ridicule.
I don't think he will kill himself, that's a bit silly.
I think that he really does care for children but he has a strange way of going about showing his affection which even to me is a bit bizzare.

One thing I am gonna say though is that he did not DANGLE the baby over the balcony. Dangling evokes images of holding the baby by the finger and waving it about the place, he did not do that. He held the baby and placed it's feet over the balcony and then pulled it back! Sure it was the wrong thing to do but he did not DANGLE it.

I at times feel sorry for him, he is obviosuly a very lonely man who just keeps putting his foot in it and making horrible mistakes and alienating himself from people. It's all really very sad. I suppose we still have the old albums to enjoy

cheers
