Wish You Were Here Picture Disc - Info Required
Hi , I`m after some information on the Wish You Were Here Picture Disc. An older colleague at work has asked me to place this on Ebay for auction and has given me some detail to describe it.
Being very wary of providing the correct information and description to potential buyers I wanted to pick your collective brains to get my facts right.
I understand the disc was part of a boxed set ...any ideas on how many of these may have been sold?
He provided a description of `only a handful of existing copies`...would this be a fair description?
Also any idea of the value as I wouldnt want him to waste time by putting on too high a reserve.
Hoping someone can be of some help.

The only picture disc of Wish You Were Here (to the knowledge of the Pink Floyd Encyclopedia, anyway) was released in the First XI box set. It was pressed in 1979, and was not contemporary with the album's real release in 1975.

I have no idea of its value, however. I haven't seen many of these picture discs around; but that may be because I'm located in the U.S. and this box set was only released in England.
