New forum for unmoderated & mature discussion

Hello,

We have been following up the suggestion that Sydney posted on a recent thread and our main concern was that unmoderated discussions could lead to abuse.

The main APFFN squad came up with an idea that could work, then: an unmoderated forum for mature, adult and responsible discussions. If such a thing is to be allowed, it will be a self-regulated medium, incorporating the standard Rules of Conduct at APFFN and some additional rules, including that should there be numerous validated complaints about content-posters, they will be banned from the forum and/or from all APFFN, at APFFN's discretion. Users will have to manually activate their accounts (either by e-mailing me or if I find a better way, changing their status) for accessing this forum. This also means that users that have not joined the forum will not even see it.

Finally, if set up, such a forum would have a trial period of 30 days to see how things work out, which may be shortened at any time. After such time lapse, we will open a new poll inquiring users if the forum should be kept open or not.

By the way, if you already want to suggest a title for this new forum, shoot.

So, cast your votes. Do you say 'yes' to these rules and to the new forum for the 30 day trial period or you'd rather not have such a forum even around?

How about 'Forum for Serious Discussion (We Need Not Have a Cheesy Pink Floyd Lyric for the Name)'?

Oh, come on, what's the point in opening such a forum if it cannot have a Cheesy Pink Floyd Lyric for the name???

It would be dificult to have an age limit. There'd be a lot of credit card stealing
