We need less forums.

PW put it very well. We have over 4 thousand threads. Imagine having it all spread over only 4 forums. It would be almost impossible for someone to find the information they were looking for.

Also, as a lot of people put it, for regular users, the best thing to do is, in my opinion, the "Get New" search feature.

Regarding Eddy's suggestion, I still think it's best for new users to search for the information they were looking for, and then participate in the threads they find (or create new ones, if they don't find the topic they were looking for), by posting on them. A lot of old threads could be refreshed by new users' contributions, specially since old threads gradually go to the bottom of the thread list and eventually, disappear as they get older, unless you choose "Show threads since the beginning".

I appreciate your suggestions, though, and your try to make this a better site.
