That's true. Plus, now I get to be extra bitter towards Microsoft cos we're being forced to use Visual C++ to code...

Think that's bad? The wife is taking her advanced assembler class - the pinhead teaching it is requiring the class to write the code first in C++, then translate it to asm... Does that make sense??? Not how I learned it...

You are in your engineering class, right? It's crammed with guys right?

Here's a question for you: Where do you think their girlfriends are?

It's just as hard for me mate. Come srping and summer time, i can't friggin' study when I go to class. TOO many distractions!

I suppose it makes sense if you want to do things highly inefficiently and pointlessly. Otherwise, it's pretty damn stupid...

I'm not in engineering (thank God, we've been taught to treat the engineers as madmen with a formal qualification), although I do have a couple of classes with them. I study a course called MSISS.

Annie - I certainly hope so, but I don't think I want a job based solely in IT, I'd prefer something that utilised my knowledge than simply applying it directly.

Lej - I'm sure you have that problem all the time...
