Live at Pompeii DVD Extras

Mark Fenwick, Roger's manager, has kindly given Brain Damage full details of the DVD release of the legendary Live At Pompeii.

Live At Pompeii contains the concert in its entirety and a much longer version which includes the concert, footage of the recording of "Dark Side Of The Moon" in the studio, and new material of the band talking in the studio. This longer version is called The Director's Cut and was conceived by the director, Adrian Maben. In addition, there is an interview with Adrian. The artwork and the concept for the DVD is by Storm Thorgerson.

The new DVD version is due out in April. Some technical glitches delayed it from being released this month.

On one of the numerous DVD store websites I've been searching the latest week I saw a june (or possibly july) release date for Pompeii, so I wouldn't expect any april release

BTW, I saw a German import PULSE DVD on 101cd.com for £28.99. Any info on it?

Cheers,
Marcus

June 6 is the release date for Pompeii, and the official dvd for PULSE is not out yet. Its being worked on according to the new "Mind Over Matter" book. Here is a quote...

Quote:
GADzooks, this book is so hot off the press that the following product has yet to appear in public. It is scheduled for 2003 but may not materialise, certainly may not materialise in its current form, not with the designs on this page: which perforce, must be viewed as provisional, as very tidy roughs, completed artworks but not certified. To be more accurate the cover is rough but the menus are not, though they are, if you get the drift.
