dylan? yeah, hes only my favourite solo artist of all time..! even if the music & singing technically sucks.., i think it sounds great anyway, & ive never much liked the cover versions... i dunno.. its kinda evocative in a way that no one else seems to capture they all just make it sound like another pop/rock song.... or somethin..

hmmm.

i prefer his earlier, but not too early stuff.. like Highway 61 Revisited, Bringin It All Back Home, Blonde On Blonde (the best!), & Blood On the Tracks

i think hes touring here this month... but i am broke spent all my money @ the Jackson Browne concert in Feb

yeah, i like travelling wilburys too.. any band with George Harrison & Bob Dylans gotta be good

but yeah.. an aquired taste

Huge fan here. The impact of Like a Rolling Stone is enormous. Dylan gave a street edge to rock music even with deep lyrics.

Blonde on blonde
Highway 61 revisited
Blood on the tracks
Infidels
Desire
Time out of mind
Freewheelin' Bob Dylan
Bringing it all back homeEmpire Burlesque
John Wesley harding

are some of my favourites.

A true legend and most of his stuff's great though I can never get into Dylan at Budokan, Saved and a couple more albums.

did dylan have street edge because he had street cred?

my all time favorite dylan song is "stuck in the middle with you" its classic dylan.

Re: Dylan?

Dylan is great...

Have to say my fav albums by him are: Freewheelin' Bob Dylan, Desire, John Wesley Harding (my fav), Blood on the Tracks, and Bringing it All Back Home.

Fav Songs: A-Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall, Desolation Row(live), Oxford Town, Stuck In A Mobile With the Memphis Blues Again, and Tomorrow Is A Long Time.
