The Office

Ok, this is something that has been bugging me for a while.
The Office (a tv program for those who aren't familiar with it) has been getting heaps of praise and awards recently. And is supposed to be one of the best things on TV for a long time.
But I just think it's a load of, well, bollocks really.
Does anyone else feel the same?

Re: The Office

It's on BBCAmerica now, on Thursday nights - I rush home from work to watch it every week.

LOL

I think it's brilliant, and I'm fostering a small crush on "Tim". (Like I wouldn't?) He resembles a lad who works at a record store in Knoxville, and needless to say, I've a crush on him.

Gawd, that makes me sound like I'm about sixteen years old or something.

Sorry about that...

Cheers!

Re: The Office

its fantastic. an acquired taste, but once you get a feel for just how messed up all the characters are, you really get into it.

David brent is one of the most amazing comic creations ive ever seen.

I think you'll find that it's just you talking bollocks! The Office was the funniest thing I've seen on tv for years, Ricky Gervais is a genius.

How did I know that you would like it? But I did. As I was typing the thread I thought to myself 'I bet Dr Chesse loves it'.

I had a feeling that I'd be the only one who hates it. Not that I care of course, everyone has their own tastes. But I really wanted to find out wheather it was me being stupid for not understanding what is so funny about it, or everyone else being stupid for finding it funny. And now I know.......It's everyone else.

Just joking of course, I knew it was me all along.

Re: The Office

That's true. Although I would have said more like a grandad.
