I'm no good at golf: I just end up hitting the ground really hard with the bat

In reply to your question as to whether dominoe tournaments actually exist. They are alive and well, and quite common place, in pubs around Fife in Scotland. The Newton Arms in Kirriemuir (birthplace of J.M. Barrie and home of the regularly held Ball of Kirriemuir) holds a dominoes tournament every Sunday lunchtime. The competitors fight tooth and nail for the Star Prize...a monster 6lb home made steak pie. It's usually good natured fun until a hustler from Edinburgh enters the competition 'just for the fun of it'! The Edinburgh dominoe hustlers have been known to count the spots on the dominoes, in order to gain the upperhand. It's a well known fact that most folk in Kirriemuir cannot count over 10. Hope this clears things up?

Same here, my friend.

Kinda helps when you played both sports.

In hockey, I was the league leader in penalty minutes....3 seasons in a row. I am currently still out on a three game suspension for fighting. But I wasn't just the enforcer (my most dominant role), I also was third in scoring and fourth in assists on my team.

Rock on.

Re: March Madness Final 4 tourney

Reviving this thread to see if anybody was in any NCAA pools this year. I won mine and should have about 40 bucks coming my way. Did anyone actually pick Florida to win?

Re: March Madness Final 4 tourney

Haha this year was rough. I got no final 4 teams right for the first time ever. Only one person in my pool (about 15 people) had Florida even in the Final 4 and he didn't have them winning it. I actually got off to a pretty good start but when LSU beat Duke and GMU beat UNC I knew my bracket was going down quickly.

How did you manage to win? You had Florida winning it all? Don't tell me you picked George Mason in the final four!

Re: March Madness Final 4 tourney

I had UCLA in the final four, and I had some good first round upsets, I believe. The person ranked #1 on espn had the final four exact, and picked Florida to beat UCLA. I don't know how people do that. I picked Villanova to win it, I was so pissed when they lost to Florida.
