Also, GeraldTheMouse, as PearlWaters put it, and you intentionally (or not) misunderstood it, calling other people - specially new users - names (i.e. "you stupid shithead"), even though it was supposed to be a joke, is definately not necessary nor wanted around APFFN. My apologies. I was under the impression that the structure and emphases in my post would be easily interpreted as self-satirization, and thus no offense would be taken. Additionally, my post above (i.e. 'What? The joke?') was an attempt to acknowledge that I knew to what PearlWaters was referring, but additionally to further indicate the jocular nature of what was posted earlier. I assumed that people would get my joke, and when PearlWaters intentionally (or not) did not, I tried to point out that it was meant purely for the sake of humor. paran01dandr01d's first posts made me think that he was the sort of person who could take a joke, and as the sort of person who is like me-- one whose mode of bonding consists of good-natured ribbing and the like. For what it's worth, he has not left the site, nor has he directed any animosity towards my person as far as I can tell, but that that's apparently besides the point. Once again I apologize for my assumptions and such, and I wish only the best for all of you.
