Sounds almost too good to be true, I'm glad I've got it on pre-order!

Mad Yannis, are you sure about that?

I did some reading. The new soundblaster audigy 2 has support for the new SACD format. Why wouldn't they make a computer DVD player to take advantage of this?

I don't know honestly about the new technologies... I was talking about old traditional DVD players.

SACD is a special player, you only need to have it on a DVD player, check yours

If you don't have it you'll listen it in stereo format

Sorry you're wrong there, I've got an Audigy2. It has support for DVD-A which is nice. I've got Queens Night @ the Opera. Surroundsound music rocks!
You need an SACD-Player to play the SACD layer. You can play hybrid SACDs on normal CD-Players. But this is a different layer so you wont get 5.1 or better soundquality.
