Why I love High Hopes

I have to admit that I sometimes think that maybe Pink Floyd Should have quit at The Wall. I grew up listening to the Wall and after it I really can'f find any magical songs. I don't mean the music is bad but I just can't find songs that seem magical to me. Then comes 1994 and High Hopes is the last song on the Album. I still get the goosebumps. It was worth it.

Re: Why I love High Hopes

The song, like TDB as a whole, is incredibly overrated. To the point where it makes me sick really.

Re: Why I love High Hopes

People from Brabant and PSV fans shouldn't call things overrated

Besides, you aren't the person to say if I may or may not like High Hopes

That's called Brabant and I am not a PSV fan. Volendam eh, what's the matter? All the coke went to your head?

Re: Why I love High Hopes

PSV sucks neway, so that's not much of a loss.

No coke here, I tend to stay clean usually. Most PF songs make me high enough. (that sounds pathetic, but no matter)

Re: Why I love High Hopes

I still don't get why you bring up PSV, the local football club here is NAC. And yes, I'll be the first to admit they're shite.

Re: Why I love High Hopes

Dunno why I brought up PSV either, doesn't matter really :P

Anyway, I do love High Hopes, and I really don't think it's overrated. Same goes for Hey You, and The Wall in general.

Re: Why I love High Hopes

No shit?

I just meant that some people tend to call both The Wall and Hey You overrated, and that I disagree with those people

Re: Why I love High Hopes

The Wall isn't overrated but TDB is.
