How many albums do you own?

The question is as titled.

I have (currently) 52 CDs, 60 LPs, and 53 7" singles. I have about ten cassettes lying about, but I can't be arsed to really count them.

I know my collection is incredibly small (Fixxy or Byron can blow me out of the water, but what the hey), but I treasure it well enough. I only buy what I really like, so I am selective.

Additionally, if you have any treasures in your collection that you are particularly proud of, mention them. My 'treasures' include a mint DSOTM on vinyl (the imfamous 'different mix'... ) and a Doors compilation LP that I have in both stereo and quad (the stereo one is a lot more rarer than the quad one, actually).

Well, we have two and a half CD racks filled that hold 100 each, so about 250., the collection still grows, you can bet a big fraction of the CD's go to YeS
Well I guess i'm proud of having OVO by Peter Gabriel, since it's not available in the US and all.
I'm proud of my YeS collection, I have all of thier CD's, but ONE., and it's a junk Greatest Hits collection, so I figured i'd skip it.

I currently have no Vinyls because I have no record player, I don't plan on getting one, but goody for those of you who have them!

Somewhere between 700-800 cd's around 30 LP's and 20-30 cassettes.

I just started making a list of my CD collection and have made it to the C's , alphabetically, by band and its a page and a half long.

100 zappa cd's? wow madcap, I only have around 10.

Hello fellow Zappa fan! Yes that's right. 80 official releases (his entire catalogue so far...) and around 20 roio's...and counting. Which ten Zappa cds do you have? Wait let me guess...ummm Apostrophe('), Over-Nite Sensation, Roxy & Elsewhere, Sheik Yerbouti, You Are What You Is, We're Only In It For The Money, Zappa In New York, Zoot Allures, Joe's Garage and Hot Rats (my personal favourite)? So, am I right? But I'm nowhere near your 850 or so records!

I cannot tell you the exact number right now but I own 300+ CDs plus stuff on LPs and old cassettes, so I guess I own roughly 400 albums at the moment.

I can't be arsed to count them but I bought my first LP in 1976 when I was slightly younger than I am today, the collection still grows.

Not a whole lot, as I am always short of cash. I had some old vinyl that my mum tossed when we moved, along with the record player (still pissed as hell about that), and I still have some cassettes, as that is all my car plays. And probably around 200 cd's right now. Out of those 200 cd's, I really only listen to about 30. Mostly Floyd, but some other stuff- ELO, Cat Stevens, Buffett, and Radiohead.

Thank God for eBay, I can unload some of the crap I have to make money for good cd's.

And I am semi-embarrassed to admit that I own, and love, Vol. 1 & 2 of the Wedding Singer sountrack. I'm a closet 80's fan.
