| Re: most underated song ever sysyphus and grand vizers garden party-entertainment are very underated even though grand vizers garden party-entertainment is the worst floyd song its actually not really that bad,nor is sysyphus(if you listen to it not to loudly beacause I allways listen to floyd at max volume),the trial is underated, and cymabaline is very underated, and corpral clegg (I love the KAZOOS@S!)

No, thank you. And if Roger couldn't handle it, then why didn't Davey step up to the plate? eh, eh? Answer me that! |

| Re: most underated song ever Roger sung it great at live shows 75-87, check 'em out. Let There Be More Light is WAY underrated, I love it.

| Re: most underated song ever I still think a lot of the Animals stuff is underrated, considering the band was kinda on the edge of breaking up while the Animlas tour was going on. I also think that some of the Gilmour-era stuff is underrated. Alot of it isn't that great, but I think "Learning to Fly" is an awesome song that doesn't get enough credit because it is off a so-so album without Roger.

| Re: most underated song ever No one ever mentions Biding My Time. The studio version's great and the live version is even better! The way Gilmour really rips through the soloing in the second half live is pretty unique to that song. It was rare around that time for Pink Floyd to have a "regular" rock guitar solo. Most of the time Gilmour just makes funny noises with echo and slides. (Not that I don't like the funny noises, but it's exciting to see Gilmour taking some risks and doing something different than usual.) It's an all around good song. It builds up to a great ending. I wonder who played trumpet on it, though? |

I really enjoy AHM as well. As for Have A Cigar, sure Dave could've done it. But, personally I think Rog would've done it the best, not Roy Harper. I don't understand this business of Roger not being able to "manage" the vocals. This song could've easily just been another one of Roger's 70s whiny vocals (i.e. Sheep, Don't Leave Me Now). I think he could've handled it if he tried. Btw, who sung Cigar when they did it live??

| Re: most underated song ever Roger and Dave tried it in 1975 and 1977. It was like they were both giving birth at the same time. Or it ended laughing in the verses like "riding the gravy train", which must have shocked a few people in the audience. Try some 75/77 boots. I think basically all pre-DSOTM stuff is pretty underrated. Have A Cigar is pretty good, but it suffers with the presence of three extra-brilliant songs on the same album.
