Talking Nick Mason at Roger Waters concert in Wembley

According to two of our users, James1after909 and Bride of a Bull, who attended Roger Waters concert in Wembley on June 26th, Nick Mason came out and played drums on "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun". In the end, he and Waters gave a big hug.

Many thanks for such cool news, guys. I got my hopes a little high now, that a reunion may not be impossible. Improbable, at least in the near future, but not impossible.

Paulo,

I hope I can safely speak for James1after909 in saying that in this case, it was very much a pleasure and nothing like a chore.

I believe you, Byron, I believe you.

Actually, I had to re-read the original thread quite a few times before I convinced myself you weren't joking around.

And I'm thankful I'll be up all night finishing a project, because I wouldn't be able to sleep after reading about this. I'm all

It wasn't too surprising to me, really. Now, I would have been shocked if you had said Dave or Rick showed up. :o

Thumbs up Re: Nick Mason at Roger Waters concert in Wembley

Hey, wouldn't it be shocking to an extreme if Roger returned to Pink Floyd and create this huge world tour? Man, imagine the ratings, and imagine the sheer mass of people going to see it! and !!! We will be Comfortably Numb, wouldn't we?

Re: Nick Mason at Roger Waters concert in Wembley

How about this for you, Thorin?

A live box set, with 7 CDs:

CD 1: Stuff that was done with Syd - the BBC sessions are probably the best place to grab masters for these.

CD 2: Complete Pompeii show.

CD 3: A DSOTM show - didn't the BBC record one?

CDs 4 and 5: A complete 'In The Flesh' show, with songs from Animals and WYWH.

CDs 6 and 7: ITAOT. I know I would buy it again if it came with this set!

Sorry for dreaming... it just sounds like a great idea.

Re: Nick Mason at Roger Waters concert in Wembley

that would be cool. and yeah the bbc did record a DSotM set. however i don't think they could fit a whole cd with syd stuff so maybe disc 1 and 2 could be like just early stuff altogether. cause i you need to have some cymbaline in there and fat old sun and stuff.
