Which is better Animals or Meddle?

Odd, I thought all Pink Floyd fans thought alike, I guess I do like Meddle more than Animals.

Up until last year when I forced myself to listen to Animals on repeat play for six hours I would have categorically said Meddle was better, as I never particularly 'got' Animals. I'm still going to go for Meddle,but only just!

Animals is my favourite Floyd album but obviously I prefer Meddle.

Not completely. Of course I'd have to see the "other picture" to make a judgement, but I was really commenting on the lame cover picture for Meddle. Storm dropped the ball on that one.

This one is hard. I recently got both Meddle and Animals. Generally, I like to listen to one new album a lot, and then move onto another. For the last week I've been listening to Animals obsessively. It is such a great album...in every aspect. Great concept, great sound. Now I've only listened to Meddle twice, but it too is very good. Especially Echoes and One of these Days. So for the time being, I think I shall remain neutral...but I am leaning toward Animals being the better of the two...

I'm more of a fan of Meddle than Animals.

I really do like the song Fearless.

Echoes is awesome, although it gets a little mad scientist sounding at points.

Animals has its bright points, but one thing I've caught myself doing is listening to just Dogs, Sheep and Pigs on the Wing (both parts), skipping Pigs (Three Different Ones)... That song just doesn't fully appeal to me for some reason.

I must be one of the few people who really likes that song, the solo at the end is awesome.

I would have to choose Animals because Dogs is 17 whole minutes of non-stop rocking.
Does meddle have that, i think not

The band is just fantastic, that is really what i think. Oh by the way, which one's Pink?

Animals must had been an very workfull album, just can't compose and record albums like that in few months. that's why it's so "perfect".
