I really enjoy Meddle, but Animals. Animals is my 2nd or 3rd (depending upon mood) favorite Floyd album, it's pure brilliance and bliss. Meddle is great, though.

I prefer Meddle. The music touches me more. I like animals, but I listen to Meddle alot more. The fact that Meddle has no theme or set style allows my thinking to flow more.

I said Animals only because it is a great concept album and the lyrics are beatifully crafted. Meddle is excellent as well with Echoes and One of These Days but the other songs are just kinda like wha....?

I suppose this match-up (I mean thread) was bound to come-up........

I voted for Animals but this is probably as close as it gets in terms of a head-to-head between my favourite Floyd albums. Three days out of the week I would've said Meddle.
