Which is better Animals or Meddle?
I think its Meddle because of Echoes.

If you have an objection- go for it.

Umm, is it me, or is this a duplicate thread?


In any case, I prefer Animals. I think it has more good songs on it than Meddle.
Although both are good.

Echoes is amazing, but you can't beat Dogs and Pigs (Three Different Ones) on the same album.

Animals , no shit in-between ( like on meddle )
+ the cover of meddle lost its magic for me , when i saw full picture ( from " Mind over matter" book )
amd i like dogs , i like the city , modern guy eeeeeeeek

The solo of Pigs (Three Different Ones) does it for me...

Man, so many times I've wished that they could've just extended that solo. It's too short IMHO.

They are both in my top 5 of Floyd albums, yet Animals wins out because every song is of equal strength. But "Echoes" alone can kick the ass of any single song on Animals, every day of the week!

EDIT: I now prefer Meddle, but only since I wrote that dissertation on it.

" Mdle " is more mellow/reefer oriented
