Hehe, I cleared the post because I didn't think anyone would reply, I wish I'd left it now.

I play guitar, very loose and 'undiciplined' but I get the job done so to speak. Hmmm, an internet band sounds a pretty mad idea, who knows what modern technology will allow...(jokingly of course).

yeah it will b good idea.. Internet band..we can jam in Boards.. emm do u study music ? i mean staff & sheet music. ? emm i write some lyrics too.we can set songs even make Midies & furter more can arrange a gig for APPFN buddies..what u say ??

Penguin of Doom, I didn't suggest starting a band over the internet, my original post asked if there were any people here local to the county/counties where I live and nearby. All later posts had a clear sense of the light-hearted about them.
No, I'm not trying to start an internet band, I was just interested in having some like-minded people to jam with in person.

And what's this 'giving musicians a bad name' crap? meaningless friend, absolutely meaningless.

Sorry if I sound a little pissed (in the agrevated sense) but I make an effort to do something constructive and it gets misconstrued. I don't know why I bother.
