| Re: favorite Pink Floyd song covers? Welcome Fling Lloyd I've heard a cover of Fearless by some band called Fish. It was nothing extra inventive, but still rahter nice and dynamic.

| Re: favorite Pink Floyd song covers? Ever since I heard a shitty band from my country doing the worst, crappiest version of WYWH ever heard in the history of Man, and that same song, again, covered by some idiotic restaurant band at Ruby Tuesday for my b-day -which my sister and I sang crappily as a mockery, pretty much-, I've lost all faith in PF covers. I would prefer having PF or their solo members doing covers themselves. E.g., I liked Roger's version of 'Across the Universe', even though I'm very touchy about people covering The Beatles, which is a band I don't think people should even touch. (unless it's a tribute band, Beatles' covers are usually.....yeecch)

| Re: favorite Pink Floyd song covers? You've obviously never heard a Joe Cocker cover of the Beatles.

| Re: favorite Pink Floyd song covers? Across The Universe by Roger was good. I've heard two Cocker's covers: With A Little Help From My Friend and You've Got To Hide Your Love Away. The first was great, the second was very good.

| Re: favorite Pink Floyd song covers? That sounds like a possible good recording too. Ah yes, I also like Jimi Hendrix' version of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (song). He was the first who played it live.

| Re: favorite Pink Floyd song covers? Oh, OK, if you say so. Sheesh, I thought I could have my own ideas, but I guess that's a bad thing, around here. 'You're wrong'...gee, nice argument, BTW; your exquisite use of strong foundations apalls me... ![]()

| Re: favorite Pink Floyd song covers? No, I meant you're wrong in that you haven't actually heard any Joe Cocker covers of Beatles songs.

Yes, I HAVE, that's why I said what I said, and I haven't changed my mind...yet (sorry if I don't like Joe Cocker very much, but that's the way it is).

| Re: favorite Pink Floyd song covers? Sigh. I suppose it's pointless to try to explain to you that I was joking when I said that you haven't heard any Joe Cocker?
