New 30th aniversery dsotm

Well im sure you've all heard about this by now. I'm wondering, from people who have bought it, is it worth the money? I do not own an original copy of dsotm, so i want to go out and buy it, and i probally will, but the price sort of holds me back. What is the booklet like inside, and how does it sound? Make me feel like im not wasting my money please lol

It's worth the money. Great-sounding mix, and a really good booklet. Worth the $20 I spent on it, IMO.

I have DSOTM (on CD). I'd say it's worth the money. The sound is remastered, which is great. The booklet has lyrics and a few pics of the band members. Again, it's worth the money

Yeah, definitely. If you don't own an original copy, then you are just wasting your time here; go out and buy it!!!

Here you'll find full scans of the booklet. The artwork includes a selection of Dark Side images from the different editions of the album, in addition to some pics of the band.

The site is in Italian but I think it's enough self-explanatory.

It really depends on you. If you don't have a SACD player what you are going to get is a new stereo remaster (which sounds great indeed) and a new artwork. Is it enough for you? I don't know, for me it was and I bought it (and it is my third copy of DSOTM on CD: original, 20th anniversary and this one).

Exclamation Official PF Website Updated!

Visit http://www.pinkfloyd.co.uk the site has been updated with 30th Anniversary Dark Side material. Beautiful visuals and interesting reading, particularly for James Guthrie contribution, explaining why the SACD format has been chosen and why DVD Audio (yes) sucks.

I just got my copy today. I've got the original album (w/poster and stickers!!), the original cd, 20th cd, and now the 30th. I was wondering though, I've got a home theatre system with Dolby 5.1 surround sound. Will I be able to get the full sound or do I have to have a SACD player?
