| Re: What is your favorite Pink Floyd lyric? come to think of it, the whole of the song "Time". Captures what it sets out to capture absolutely perfectly. Last edited by thebox : 03-06-2005 at 11:44 PM. |

That's John Lennon, not Pink Floyd. Mine is: "And all you touch and all you see Is all your life will ever be." My general perception of things. Last edited by Wing'd Icarus : 03-08-2005 at 04:18 PM. |

W'Ikki is right, that's Lennon..and you've got the line wrong anyway..it's "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."

| Re: What is your favorite Pink Floyd lyric? hey all...what do you think of this Floyd lyric: now i had seen the warnings screaming from all sides it's easy to ignore them god knows i've tried all of this temptation it turned my faith to lies til i couldn't see the danger..or hear the rising tide. -take it back, division bell also.... was it love, or was it the idea of being in love or was it the hand of fate seemed to fit just like a glove? -one slip, momentary lapse of reason currently, these are my favourite lyrics.... |

| Re: What is your favorite Pink Floyd lyric? And you run, and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking Racing around to come up behind you again The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older Shorter of breath and one day closer to death Every year is getting shorter Never seem to find the time Plans that either come to nought Or half a page of scribbled lines Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way The time is gone The song is over Thought I'd something more to say Time, from DSOTM. The Trial also has good lyrics, also cool animation in the movie! Crazy, Toys in the attic, I am crazy, Truly gone fishing... Crazy, Over the rainbow I am crazy Bars on the window...

| Re: What is your favorite Pink Floyd lyric? Oh god, it's still alive, that discussion. But obvious as it seems I cannot but agree that "Time" has tremendous lyrics. Top class indeed. Though it speaks of senseless things. But that is the trick, it's you and me. |
