What do you think of bands like the Dave Matthews Band?
It's hard to find a good band these days with more than one hit record. Dave Matthews has so many great songs, but most people only know his singles, which aren't even close to some of his other stuff. I've seen him live 3 times and I'm going to see him twice more this summer, and he is great. The band itself puts on such a great concert. In your opinion, how does DMB compare with other current day bands?

they r class.. but in here not many people really go for them.. i dont really know the reason why... but personally i like them... by the way meddler i know you are Rolling Stone fan.. Im gonna See 'em Live This 7th if doctors allow me to move ! really don't wanna miss this Once in Lifetime opportunity

I think that DMB is ok. I listen to a little of their music. But they are not my favorite!!

I cannot say that i have heard much DMB but what i have heard i have liked.
BTW-I have seen the Stones live. Awesome concert! And i'm not even that big of a fan.

Sorry to say but I think they blow. I mean Satalite is my only fave but EVERYBODY is SOOOOO into THEM like FOREVER even when They were an UNDERGROUND band.....The preps at my skool liked them and everyonbe I meet that likes them annoyes me...not saying you will lol Friendship?

lets agree to disagree.....however if u gave some songs like warehouse(live version), jimi thing, or #41 a try you might think differently.

All right. Sorry, it's just the band was ruined for me by a large majority of people in my town(lets say all 800 of the 1000 kids at FSHS.) But I will add them to my Kazaa list...

Everthing that he does is great.
-My question....... Some people consider him a jam band, but I don't think so. What about everybody else???

Sorry. The Dave Matthews stuff I've heard I don't care for. His style and voice kind of annoy me. I could say the same for "Hooty".
