Re: lent

I gave up listening to The Wall years ago and it had nothing to do with Lent.

Re: lent

I've given up eating rats for Lent.

Possible solution for childhoods end: Maybe you should listen to The Wall Live in Berlin (1990).
It is so far removed from the "real" wall performances that God will not hold you to your commitment, and maybe you'll quit twitching.

Then again, probably not.

I just didn't think you should be playing quite so much hopscotch when you could trip so easily like that.

I went thru a phase in 1990 where I listened to The Wall every day for probably 3 straight months. Since then I probably haven't listened to it more than dozen times clear through. The point is, some Floyd fans don' t care for it, to others, it's their favorite; but don't be intimidated by the opinion of others. If you like The Wall, go ahead & get the CD & the Movie.
