How about a "Polls' Forum

I been to some other message boards (quite as vast as this one and some gargantuan in size of topics) and some of them had a separate section for polls.

I propose we create the same here at APFFN. It might reduce a rash of "Poll : Does anybody here like Van Halen" posts

Ok, humour aside, it also might be a lot more convenient to group all the polls under one heading...

So, Aye? Or Nay?

Re: How about a "Polls' Forum

I don't think it'll reduce any more of the repetitive, duplicate, meaningless polls at all. No matter how hard we try, that helpful search feature always gets brushed aside.

As far as for grouping polls together...I could see a benefit in that. Have to ask the big guy.

Nay, I think we're fine where we are. Those duplicate threads are cute.

Re: How about a "Polls' Forum

Grouping polls? Only possible, technically, if we create a polls forum, as Si suggested. I still think things are more organized without one, as polls get posted (or should be ) on the appropriate forum, keeping alike subjects together.

But now I'll have to use the Search feature to find out if anyone likes Van Halen.

To the surely good-natured suggestion of poll consolidation, I have just this to say:

Not only "no" but HELL no!

Re: How about a "Polls' Forum

It would be useless, every poll got its topic, and every topic got its forum.
