Concert DVD collection

Since I live here in the middle of the MOST CONSERVATIVE state in the U.S. of A. : and a community of moderate size (about 1.5 mil) I find it difficult to find any decent concerts coming thought town. We NEVER see any of the big boys around here. All of the top line acts usually get as close as Vegas or Devner, but then you have to add on the cost of travel and lodging to an already exorbatant (sic) ticket price.

But I have found an affordable alternative....

I have begun to amass a quite good collection of Concert DVD's. Plus I get the added bonuses of being able to watch them as often as I like, or watch them in my underwear if I feel like it...

So far I have collected..

1) In The Flesh....Roger Waters Live
2) David Gilmour, Live in Concert
3) Back in the U.S. : Paul McCartney live
4) Songs from The Lifehouse: Pete Townshend
5) Live From the ElMacambo: Stevie Ray Vaughan
6) Live From Austin: Stevie Ray Vaughan
7) The Song Remains the Same: Led Zepplin
8) The Last Waltz : The Band
9) The Dance : Fleetwood Mac Live
10) One More Car, One More Rider ; Eric Clapton

What do you guys have .... Any suggestions to add to my library?

Re: Concert DVD collection

I have a few:

Roger Waters -- In The Flesh - Live
Peter Frampton - Live In Detroit
Joe Satriani -- Live In San Francisco
G3 Live In Concert -- (Satriani, Vai, Johnson)
Queensryche -- Live Evolution

I'm gonna get Dave's new DVD as soon as I can get my lazy butt to the music store.

P.S. Fulg, I hope you didn't change your "location" because of me. I took no offense. Honest.

Re: Concert DVD collection

It pains me to say this but....Even without Dave , In The Flesh is an amazing concert. Of course it took three guitars to replace Dave.......Yes , it is definately worth it.

My friend...there is really no alternative to really being there.

I understand the"expense" thing...but if you get the chance to see either Roger Waters, or Pink Floyd ever again, sell your own mother to get there...it's something you will NEVER forget

Re: Concert DVD collection

Fulghum, the day you posted this I had just watched MTV's Icon: Metallica, and was saying to myself...I need to get S&M, because I've seen it and I dug it. I've always wanted to start a collection of something, and concert DVDs are going to be it. I just decided this not too long ago. The only one I had was ITF for a long time, and I just picked up Ozzy: Live in Budakon before I had the little one. Thankfully, (as you know) my little ones enjoy them just as much as I do!
