What are Syd's solo albums like and more importantly, are they worth getting?

Admittedly, I've only heard The Madcap Laughs, but I love it.

I, too, enjoy Madcap, but it has limited appeal, even for the biggest Floyd fans.

I would suggest getting the compilation CD "Won't You Miss Me".
This release has the best songs from "Barrett","The Madcap Laughs" & "Opel" + some rarities. I believe it's all remastered as well.
