1. Dark Side of the Moon - This is their best album, every song is amazing! Definitely one of the greatest albums ever made.
2. Piper at the Gates of Dawn - This album is classic, Syd Barrett was a genius! A psychedelic masterpiece.
3. Wish You Were Here - awesome.
4. Meddle
5. The Wall

1. The division bell (First album I bought and a true certificate of BDG's amazing guitar work, not to mention the atmosphere of all the tracks. Criminally underrated amongst PF fans, many times a target of mockery by Waters fans.)
2. Wish You Were Here (Christ what a fantastic musical masterpiece. Dave's guitar work yet again apparent in wonderful form. Every track is a masterpiece.)
3. Ummagumma LIVE (my introduction to psychedelic music. This just proves you don't need pot to get high. ASoS rocks here totally, what an opus. Unlike many PF fans, Celestial voices isn't my favorite part on ASoS.)
4. A Momentary Lapse of Reason (I know I don't have the typical PF fan top 5 list, but I just simply love 80's music, and this album for me has almost everything for me, despite corny lyrics and the 'machines'. A big FU to people who mock this along with TDB. Bloody Waters fans...On The Turning Away makes for this album alone.)
5. ITAOT (not a single album from the golden era made it on my list, fecking hell...no explanations needed here. I'm as anti-Waters as it gets, and the sole reason this is on my top 5 list is that Dave and Rick get more space to do what they do best. The solo for CN here is somewhat horrid compared to the magnificent P.U.L.S.E version. P.U.L.S.E should be on my list as well but nevermind...)

My five top albums:

1 Echoes: It has the v best from each and in a great order

2. Dark Side of the Moon: Great music, great lyrics, areally great album...no more can be said

3. Wish You Were Here: Simply because I love Wish you Were Here, its my favorite Floyd song and it makes up the album (Shine on You Crazy Diamond is good too)

4. The Division Bell: It has beautiful lyrics and really good music, a variety of different sounds

5. Either Momentry Lapse of Reason or Animals: I cant decide because both are good, Animals has awesome lyrics and concepts matched with great music, but "On the Turning Away" is a really nice mellow album.

My third post on this topic. My opinions just keep changing. Last time around, MLOR was in my top 5. Now, it's my least favorite Floyd album. My former least favorite is in my top 5. Just changes so fast.

5. The Wall: Actually almost feel like giving this the boot for Meddle, but I'm still into The Wall from time to time. Haven't been listening to it much at all, though.

4. The Final Cut: My least favorite album until about a month ago where I suddenly fell in love with the thing. It's just so emotional, so heartfelt, even its musical shortcomings don't quite get in the way.

3. Wish You Were Here: Has taken a slight slip with me as I don't find it quite as catching as Animals. It can boring at certain times. Still, it's got 5 songs that are in my top 20 in terms of musical quality and remains a strong favorite for me.

2. Animals: This just continues to rise and rise up my list. Gripping, snarling, and quite emotionally felt as it sums up the emotional classes of George Orwell's book.

1. Dark Side: Once again, needs no explanation.
