Re: Porcupine Tree tour dates

I've spent about 7 weeks of my life in Australia and seen a grand total of 2 red backs and some sort of snake which scurried away as soon as it saw us. Very few of them are agressive. Any other dangerous creatures I saw were in zoo exhibits. I'd have loved to have seen one of those funnel webs though. (from a safe distance of course). I know there hasnt been a death form one of their bites for years but i believe it hurts like hell!

I don't really mind snakes. I was thinking more about the scorpions and spiders and what not I keep seeing on the telly.

Re: Porcupine Tree tour dates

you're all bloody mad.

Ian.. funnel webs are fuckers. Quite common in Sydney though, especially in the blue mountains area.. Though I think we occasionally get them in the Adelaide hills. Dad found a whole load of red back eggs in the garage the other day, needless to say, we got rid of them.

Lars.. we only get scorpions out in the bush, like in the middle of nowhere.. where no one lives, in the Simpson and Sturt deserts.

That used to be censored. Maybe it was decided this site isn't American after all, who knows.

I tend to censor myself these days, just so as not to cause offence you understand, I'd hate to cause offence to anyone.
