Yeah, their label (Lava) folded shortly after their Deadwing tours. But they're popularity has really grown between the last few albums, and I figure it's a matter of convincing a label that re-releasing LS will be worth while, and SW just finding time to re-mix/re-master it (he's producing the new Orphaned Land album soon, just finished recording Blackfield II, has plans to make some album including Mikael Akerfeldt and Mike Portnoy later, and has hinted at a new No-Man album...oh yeah, and he wants to record a new PT album by the end of the year)!

I don't know about most floydian as I don't have any of their early stuff yet, but as Llowell (Brainwashed) has said somewhere else in this thread Lightbulb Sun and Stupid Dream are essential, and they're also the only two I own other than the albums you posted. Lightbulb Sun is out of print at the moment but you pick it up from ebay or amazon, there are still some new copies knocking around. Should be a new album released early 2007

I have tickets for the Manchester gig the night after yours
(I presume you meant 29th september or your gonna be mightily disappointed)

If you're looking for "spacier" stuff, then you've got to check out "Up The Downstair" and "The Sky Moves Sideways." I prefer the former (I think it's very underrated), but they're both excellent.

But Ian is right, "Stupid Dream" and "Lightbulb Sun" are definately among their best. You can't get LS right now, though.
