ITAOT Drums

Hi everybody! I'm a newbie in this forum, first of all I have to say that this is the best web to find out PF anecdotes and news, it's good to know you can find a place where people are always connected and posting new threads everyday.

After this stupid introduction I have a question, it refers to the live version of the Wall, I wonder if only Nick is on drums. I remember (maybe I'm wrong) seeing more than one drumkit on the stage. Anyway, I think drums on ITAOT are great and powerful.

Thx

Re: ITAOT Drums

Hello! Have a nice time here.

I've not been here too long myself but I keep getting dragged back here somehow. Just to beat everyone else to it - use the little search thing before posting a thread to make sure it hasn't been done before.

The second drumkit on stage would have been for the surrogate band appearing for In the flesh? Though I'm no expert, I could be wrong.

I think you're right. ( Willie Wilson's set.)

Oh, yeah, and HELLO and welcome Watergate!

Re: ITAOT Drums

i hate when bands have two drummers. has anyone ever heard of the warlocks? i saw them open for interpol and they had two drummers and they did the same exact thing. kind of pointless. the only plus side of it was when they both used the bass drum you could really feel it.

Re: ITAOT Drums

The amazing part is that Wilson and Mason were playing the same beats and fills together; it makes the drums sound really thick.
