Eurovision

AH HAAAA!!!

I don't, but after the UK scored zero points, everybody and his uncle had articles in newspapers and on TV discussion shows yammering on and on about it.

Incidentally, I have a very strange, almost queer, friend who holds an Eurovision Song Contest dinner party every year to which I have never been invited because of my staunch opposition to the "contest." So there.

AND HERE I THOUGHT Y'ALL HAVE absolutely no idea what Eurovision is all about. (i watch it every year and i laugh during it.)do you remember last year's Eurovision? our (slovenian) spokesmen were 3 men dressed in women's clothes. remember?
well, this year we had a woman (we cannot call her a singer since she don't know how to sing) which we all in slovenia hate. she won only because she cried last year when she lost and the 3 men won. Pathetic!!!!!! :grrr

I thought it was because no-one likes them. I have an English mate who was watching it over a few beers, and growing more and more irate with my "another vote for Ireland" interjections. He finally said "look everyone hates us OK?"

Driven was this your pal james? Lokk jsut tell him that the english song was utter shite.... honestly the chick couldn't sing.... i reckon even if I'd sung they would have gotten better results than that....
