| Organ Grinder....(me)..is proud to present First off, it's nice to be here once again. It's been over a fecking month since i've been here. I'll be here more(again)soon, but I'm still a little busy. All the same, I thought I'd stop in ans say hello and leave this nice little ditty of a thread for you. The point of this thread is to share a little something with you all. As I have said many times before, I am in a band. It was really nice out yesterday, so we resumed our playing for the first time since November. As you can imagine, we were a bit rusty. It was also a very short session(my drummer mate had to go to work). Anyway, I thought it might be a little fun just to let you all know what we are doing and playing. So this would be sort of a band diary thing. Name? We don't have or need one right now, but I am batting around something like either Menthol Box(from my cig pack) or Ball Tongue. Please feel free to ask me any questions about the band or songs or whatever. Well, here we go. One more thing, if anyone else would like to use this thread for their band, feel free. My gift to you. March 25th 2003 1. Warm up jammy thing consisting of stupid power cords. 2. Blind(Korn) --.....well, sort of. 3. Floyd the Barber(Nirvana). -- A bit rusty, but not too bad. 4. Rhubarb -- Very rusty on this one. Still, we've done worse. 5. The Joe Spoor Theme Song. -- We played a bit of it, then f*cked up. 6. Mr. Moustche(Nirvana) -- After not playing for the better part of four months, my friggin hand started cramping up. EDIT-- Oops, forgot one. EDIT PART TWO -- Damnit!!!! And another. I hope you will enjoy this. ![]() Last edited by Organ Grinder : 03-26-2003 at 03:00 PM. |

It really depends on the song we play. If the only song you heard us play was Floyd the Barber(for example), I think you'd enjoy it and say we are pretty good. However, if you heard our version of Sgt. Peppers, you laugh ti;; your anus bled(much like we do when we hear the playback). |

| Re: Organ Grinder....(me)..is proud to present That's a relief, with only two you might have been struggling to fill a two hour set! |

| Re: Organ Grinder....(me)..is proud to present What's your favourite foods? Do you have any pictures, autographed? Aside: I stopped my Route 43 bus at its northern stand in Friern Barnet, London just outside a parking lane and Co-op convenience store. Securing my bus and cashtray, I popped into the Co-op for a mint; not polo. Buying a pack of cigarettes after me was none other than Fergal Sharkey, "the former lead singer of teenage punk band the Undertones" and "has been appointed the UK government's radio regulator for Northern Ireland." I recognised his voice when he asked for his fags, and I said, "Mr. Sharkey!" He looked at me and I smile and offered him my hand which he took, and I said, "Thank you." "For what?" he asked. "I heard your music in the 80s," I said and left the shop. When he finally came out, I got his autograph on a bus defect card for Sayso. I'm so silly. ![]()
