Double disc vs. single disc

i doni't think bands should make double disc albums. Usually one of the discs sucks, and they are much more expensive than just a normal cd. I could really do without much of The Wall disc 2. I dunno, maybe it's just me, what do YOU think?

P.S if a mod even tells me this has been done, well then screw you! i already searched for it!

Re: Double disc vs. single disc

It's art. If the artist fills 2 discs, it's part of their masterpiece. Why should we impose such limits on artists?

Re: Double disc vs. single disc

yeah you get two discs, but what i'm sayin is most of the time ones a waste. Why not just release two different albums with two different themes?

Re: Double disc vs. single disc

Well, let's take a more positive approach. Isn't the Pompeii version of "Echoes" absolutely kick-ass? Well, I think so anyway. It's my fav version of that song. I guess that just sort of popped into my head.
