Stratters and Fulghum - thanks, guys!

It's nice to know that even seasoned guitar players such as yourselves say what Gilmour has is just pure guitar-playing magic. I watch or listen to him play, and he makes it look/sound so easy.

Roger may be a brilliant song-writer/lyricist/concept-creator, but Gilmour (and Wright) are the musicians that have kept the Floyd in my stereo for 30 years!

Relax, you geezers; he's just a man, not a god.

I've got a Jap Strat souped up with a Gibson humbucker at the bridge, stock middle pickup, and lace sensor at the neck. Floyd Rose II trem. It was used and at the right price for a pawn shop. I rather fancy strats but don't much like the look of Les Pauls, or Teles, come to think of it. Though I admire them from what I've heard of them and who I've seen them with. I'd like an SG, though.

Oddly enough, I bought a Les Paul today. Not a real one, technically, but a very lovely copy. Black in color.

'J. Reynolds', Stratters.

Still very nice, though. Worth the $280 I got it for.

well, thanks for the advice, i'll remember it in a year when i pay off my amp, haha. I'm on a tight budget. and about DG, he doesn't have to play lighting fast to sound amazing. I used to really dig shredding but he made me realize that's just not what i'ts all about. What he plays is simple, and not inredibly difficult, it just sounds beautiful!

I like the look of the new tele (John Lowery of Marilyn Manson sig.) that should be coming out soon. Might cost a bit though.

I am partial to the traditional Tele... (probabaly because I have one) . The John 5 is interesting though... unusual headstock... The trem has been done before though..

Ooer, a Bigsby tremelo. They look great on Teles, but they make the guitar all but unplayable.

John 5's signature Tele isn't bad looking at all, actually.
