Re: new or classic sodas

Of course I remember RC, it was on its way out when I was but young. And then of course there is the original diet soda, Tab.

Re: new or classic sodas

Ahh, Tab, with only one calorie per can. Awesome! NNJ's not even an "old geezer" yet and he remembers RC.

I also remember the rival to Mountain Dew, Kickapoo (sp?) Joy Juice. Now there's a brand!

Re: new or classic sodas

I never liked ANY soda, whether new or, 'classic'. Not because i'm concerned of my health, I could care less about that, it's to thick and sugary for me, kind of nasty IMO.

And yes, RC is still around, you can get big packs of it at Costco, our school ganitor sells soda, and he always has Royal Crown.

Re: new or classic sodas

I liked most of the new sodas. Livewire reminds me of a carbonated creamsicle.

The one I loved, and they stopped making, was Pepsi Kona. The Pepsi that had coffee flavor. I think I was one of maybe ten people that actually liked it.

Right now, I'm addicted to Vanilla Coke, but I think it has more to do with the fact that it tastes a lot like Coke with Captain Morgan.

And of course, for the caffeine lovers, Jolt is always good.

Re: new or classic sodas

What taste would you choose for something like a Pink Floyd soda?

Country Time's Pink Lemonade would do nicely.
