what's on my tape?!?

hello there,

i've recently found a tape in my collection that someone had recorded for me many years ago (probably only 2 actually). it's a late period pink floyd live and from my shoddy knowledge of late floyd the track listing is this.....

1.shine on you.....
2. what do you want from me
3. high hopes
4. (dunno)
5. coming back to life
6.sorrow
7. (dunno)
8. another brick in the wall pt.2
9. (dunno)

if anyone knows what i've got here, i'd be very grateful if they let me know. i did think it might be Pulse, but i looked at amazon.com and the track listing is pretty different.

I think it is Pulse, it sounds a lot like it.

It should be Pulse but your friend probably changed the track order (why?). It could also be a RoIO/bootleg but again, it's strange that High Hopes is the third song. How's the sound quality?

first of all, i'd like to say sorry yannis. it was a bit petulent to have a go at you, so i apologise. it's just that this is rather annoying to not know what is on the tape!

the sound quality is great, very clear. i've been listening to the end of shine on and i think you may be right about changing the order (astronomy domine doesn't appear unless it'sbeen reworked dramatically, like frank zappa used to do). the segue from shine on to what do you want from me is pretty smoothly done (i.e. no short pause like the jumping of cd tracks) but the song comes in quickly.


also at the end of what do you want from me, gilmour says (in a very english accent!) "thankyou very much indeed, good evening (pause) right i think we'll get straigh on with it, this is called High Hopes".

well i hope that helps. i should have said that in the first post really.
