Outside the Wall in Berlin

Does anyone know what the deal is with the song "Outside The Wall" on the Live In Berlin DVD that plays during the credits. It's not the original Pink Floyd song from the Wall. And it isn't live. So I was wondering if it was re-recorded just for the occasion, or if it was a Pink Floyd demo or what.

Are you sure you don't mean The Tide is Turning which is the final track?

This is just one of Rog's solo songs which he put at the end of the set to make it less pessimistic. Otherwise, I don't know.

Outside the Wall was re-recorded by Roger Waters and the Bleeding Heart Band for the home video release, to play over the credits after The Tide is Turning.

BTW I like The Tide Is Turning much more than Outside The Wall. The Berlin version was very good. Roger should re-record Radio KAOS without that 80s crappy electronics. It would be great.

Find some bootlegs of the 1987 tour, they're fantastic. Particularly "KAOS Creek"

Yes! The performance was very good there. Plus the fantastic Molly's Song was played. Home and Four Minutes were developed very well and so did The Tide Is Turning. GREAT version of Powers That Be can be found on 1999 tour bootlegs. This new version beats The Bravery Of Being Out Of Range to the ground (for me).
