| hi. hmm. first post! i've been looking around pf sites for a while and have decided to park my bum here. i hope that i am not too annoying. i am 20. do i have to divulge any more personal info? address? credit card number? just 2 weeks ago i bought "more" which meant that i now own all of the floyd albums. it was a great day and i was quite proud of myself, though my wallet wasn't. now i'm wading through all the other stuff, zabriskie point, solo albums, books, dvds etc. geez there's a lifetimes worth of stuff out there. anyway just to amuse myself i'll comment a bit on my introduction to the band. my first musical memory is listening to the wall. kind of like a soundtrack for a big part of my life. anyway i began to find out what it all meant and it was fascinating to me. then it comes full circle, at university one of the books i studied was "amusing ourselves to death" which i later found out was the basis of roger's solo album. i then turned the lecturer onto the album and he really enjoyed it!  |
