Rogers Sued The Band

So after Rogers left the band and david gilmour and the others wanted to continue. He sued the band for not putting down the name. If you were in a band and you quit would you do the same as waters if the rest of the band wanted to continue?

no, roger's a fag, and he didn't even come up with the name.

If I considered myself the driving force creatively behind a project as Roger did, wrote most of the lyrics, and came up with the themes and concepts, I guess I would feel it would be misleading to continue on with the same name.

Plus if the result was AMLOR and ATB, hell yeah.

syd didnt make them change the name after he left and it was his idea so i dont see what roger's problem is.

A.) After Syd left the band he could barely remember his own name...let alone the band..

B) Roger was only 1/4 of the band (1/5 if you count Syd) or 1/3 if you discount Dave... even so Nick and Rick have equal rights to the name as well.
